We have seen many changes over the last several years in the real estate industry as well as many other industries. The fact of the matter is that the "average" real estate agent in this country is only doing a handful of transactions and in many cases only the necessary continuing education to remain an active licensee in their respective state.
It is time for us, as real estate professionals to step up to plate. The American dream has become the American nightmare for many and it's time for us to raise the bar on the level of knowledge, advice, and services we provide to our clients. We are not just in sales. It is our responsibility to not only be knowledgeable about completing the transaction, but also about real estate as an investment, and about loan programs and how they could possibly effect the cash outlay of their home as an investment. We must differentiate our services as a Real Estate Advisor.
The average real estate agent has become a commodity that earns little to no respect. For the real estate agents that take pride in the level of services they provide and continue to improve it's difficult to swallow.
This country and this organization share in the belief that everyone should own a piece of the American Dream, home ownership. We also believe that we owe it to our clients to arm ourselves with the specialized knowledge to give expert advice.

"Nelson is no ordinary realtor! I can't even beginning to explain how much we put him through! He got 3 of our offers accepted, that is UNHEARD of in this market! He's no ordinary realtor, I tell ya! 3 days before our date to close our lender decided our reserves weren't going to work and told us they were going to cancel our loan! We were dumbfounded but accepted that maybe it wasn't ment to be for us. When Neslon heard this he quickly sprung into action and contacted the lender directly. Within hours a manager at our credit union called and told us that our realtor had just saved our loan. The underwriters had made mistakes but no one had noticed until Nelson stepped in and asked the right questions.
